Abstract: |
Archaeological recording carried out on Old Cottage in advance of demolition revealed that the cottage had a complex history of alteration since it's construction. The cottage was a one and a half storey building with extensions to the north and east. The earliest part of the cottage probably comprised a mud and stud wall, possibly dating to the 17th century.
