Abstract: |
Between August 2000 and March 2001 York Archaeological Trust observed the groundworks for the development of domestic housing. Although a considerable total area was observed and the observations were widely spaced across the site, relatively little was seen that merited detailed recording. Three features were recorded, two of which were almost certainly field drains of post-medieval or modern origin. The third feature was potentially of interest since it may have been a post-medieval or earlier sunken track leading to and from Pigeon Cote Farm. [Au(abr)] |
