Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment of the proposed site of an environmental screening bund found that one possible archaeological feature had been identified as a cropmark on an aerial photograph of the site. A concentration of Neolithic or Early Bronze Age flint artefacts had been recorded 300m to the east, whilst features of the prehistoric, Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval periods had been recorded in the surrounding area. A programme of further evaluation work was suggested. [AIP] |
