Abstract: |
Three features were identified during the excavation of foundation trenches. A cobble yard and a compact chalk surface may have represented yard surfaces to the rear of properties that fronted onto the Main Street. To the north of the chalk surface a possible rubbish pit was identified which contained pottery dating from the 14th to 15th century. [Au] |
