Abstract: |
The recording work identified several phases of construction of the farm house, which stood on the site of an assumed medieval manor house. Due to circumstances created by the already well advanced development only a small portion of the structure was recorded but it was too limited to provide dating evidence. The later phases of the building were identified as being in the 18th century, this being consistent with a period of rebuilding between 1842 and 1885. [AIP] |
