Abstract: |
An evaluation in advance of construction of new university accommodation revealed a range of features. Post-Medieval remains of buildings overlayed features relating to a substantial building dating from after the 14th century. Prior to this was evidence for cultivation and 13th to 14th century features relating to the use of the site by an urban manor. Earliest of all were features from beford the 10th century. [Au(adp)] |
