The debris removed from the living room to expose the clay floor consisted of the fragmentary remains of the timber floor, numerous pieces of framing and broken panels from the linen-fold panelling, rush, plaster and structural timbers from the fallen ceiling; discrete heaps of bricks and an assortment of late 20th century bottles, hard and plastic containers.
