An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in advance of a proposed hotel development. Evaluation trenches were targeted on crop marks seen on aerial photographs. Several ditches and features of prehistoric date were uncovered and some ditches of unknown date. Finds included large amounts of struck flint and occasional prehistoric pottery. [Au(adp)]
