Abstract: |
Archaeological trial trenching and observation during the erection of 38 sheltered flats revealed medieval deposits and walling dating to the 13th/14th-15th centuries, suggesting the presence of medieval occupation along the east side of Coventry Road, abandoned in the later medieval period. Later structural remains related to the area's redevelopment in the 18th and 19th centuries. [Au(adp)] |
