Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation and modern building recording was conducted after a two storey extension was built on an existing building without fulfilling an archaeological planning condition. The remains of two earlier walls were found in the trench at the back of the building. The western garden wall contained evidence of several phases of construction between the 18th and the second half of the 20th century, while the eastern showed only two fabrics. The position of the building was also recorded. No further archaeological work was recommended. [Au(adp)] |
