Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief during ground works to install a water irrigation system across the lawns and terraces to the south of the manor recovered evidence of the earth moving involved in creating the terracing. It also revealed a brick wall, probably dating the late17th or early 18th century which possibly acted as a retaining wall. [Au(abr)] |
