Abstract: |
The excavation identified a Late Bronze Age pit and possible Lane Bronze Age horizon. The pit contained Late Bronze Age pottery and a quantity of struck and burnt flint. Similar finds were recovered from the horizon that sealed the pit, although this layer also contained 19th/20th century finds. These may have resulted from root disturbance or animal burrowing.
