Abstract: |
Desk-based assessment of the proposed route of a road bypass scheme identified that sites of Romano-British date may have been present in the vicinity of Oldbury gasworks, and that sites of prehistoric date may have been present in the vicinity of a central allotment area on a raised ridge of natural gravel terrace. Sites of Roman, post-medieval and possibly medieval date may also have been present in the form of field ditches within the proposal area. [Au] |
