A watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of foundations for two blocks of dwellings outside the existing buildings at Aston Hall. The area comprised mainly redeposited material and made-up-ground, although several small features relating to post-medieval activity such as rubbish dumping and settlement were recorded. [Au(abr)] |
