Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was maintained during the excavation of a foundation trench for a rear extension. Trinity Terrace takes its name from the medieval Holy Trinity Church, and previous work in the area had revealed several burials. Further burials were encountered, giving an indication of the extent of the graveyard and showing that it had been in use for some time. The finding of a re-used plinth stone seemed to suggest that there was already a church here in the 12th century. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} NY96SE12 |
