Abstract: |
As part of urgent conservation and repair works, a new below ground drainage system was to be installed in the graveyard of the church. The excavation of two large soakaways was monitored. A small number of post-medieval graves were disturbed, but no earlier in situ human remains or other archaeological features were encountered. A limited assemblage of artefacts, including worked flint and medieval pottery. was recovered to the south of the church. [Au(abr)] |
