Abstract: |
An evaluation was undertaken at the pre-application stage for a large commercial development. This revealed one undatable shallow linear feature and a relatively high quantity of unabraded pottery. Recovered pottery dated from the Late Bronze Age or Early Iron Age, whilst the worked flint dated from the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Burnt bone fragments were also recovered. This possibly indicates the presence of a settlement in the area that was missed during the evaluation. [AIP] |
