Abstract: |
A previous evaluation had identified a burnt feature of Roman date. The watching brief revealed the remainder of this feature, which enabled it to be fully investigated. The remains, although heavily truncated, suggested a kiln. In addition, a section was observed through a medieval ditch previously sampled. No other features of archaeological interest were observed.
