The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Two evaluation trenches were excavated toward the front of the site. Trench one contained two parallel linear ditches. One of the ditches contained dating evidence in the form of Roman pottery and it was overlain by a subsoil that also contained a few sherds of medieval pottery. Trench two had been heavily disturbed in the mid-19th century by the construction of a culvert, probably associated with a former sewage works. [Au(abr)]
