Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological observation, investigation and recording was undertaken during groundworks associated with the construction of a dwelling. No archaeological features were observed during the watching brief and neither were there any finds. The stratigraphy encountered was recorded, this consisted of topsoil and a silty clay over chalk brash, the latter being encountered some 0.45m below the ground surface. [Au(adp)]
