Abstract: |
The watching brief was undertaken during strengthening and reshaping work carried out on a flood defence embankment. The Victorian masonry wall, which had been incorporated into the embankment, was exposed along its north-east face. Elsewhere no deposits or features of archaeological interest were identified.
