Abstract: |
The study area appeared to have been used solely for agricultural purposes at the time it was developed in the 19th century, and probably many years previously. It was located in a prehistoric and Roman landscape setting, with two Scheduled Ancient Monuments in the immediate vicinity. It was possible that important archaeological remains were present within the study area itself. [Au(adp)] |
