Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during the groundwork phase of the construction of the Canada Memorial at Green Park. With the exception of residual medieval pottery all evidence dated to the post-medieval period and for the most part was intrusive. A large gravel extraction quarry pit was located, it may have dated from the second half of the 17th century. [Au(adp)] |
