Abstract: |
The principle aim of the archaeological evaluation was to locate and accurately plot the remains of the inner wall of the barrier ditch, the ruins of Maidstone Road Guardhouse, and the remains of the western Warders Quarters and the Cellblock. Trench 1, revealed the remains of the Maidstone Road Guardhouse. The northern and south-western walls were uncovered as well as part of a concrete floor. The inner wall of the ditch was located in Trenches 5 and 6.[Au(abr)] |
