Abstract: |
The evaluation identified features of medieval date. These consisted of small gullies and were perhaps best interpreted as field boundaries - a hypothesis that could be seen to be substantiated by possible plough scarring in Trench 1. Post-medieval features on the site consisted of post holes in trenches 2, 3 and 8 and a juvenile pig inhumation in trench 4. [Au] |
