Abstract: |
During the course of the watching brief at 'Portobello' at least one medieval burial was identified. The groundworks within the rest of the site were not of sufficient depth to reveal further features. The watching brief confirmed the conclusion of previous investigations that medieval burials were unlikely to be encountered within one meter of the existing ground surface.[Au] |
