Abstract: |
A three-day evaluation was carried out at the proposed site of a school sports hall, which was to be built on part of the playing field. A number of prehistoric finds had been recorded in the vicinity, and the possible line of a Roman road passed nearby. A group of potentially Saxon burials had also been recorded. One trench was excavated, but no archaeological finds or features were encountered. No further work was recommended. [Au(abr)] |
