Abstract: |
Field Survey and trial trenching of surviving earthworks did not give any clear indication of their date or relationship with the almshouses documented in the area. It was recommended that an archaeological watching brief and salvage recording of the earthworks be carried out during development, and that archaeological excavation take place over the area of the nearby rugby pitch to be affected by road construction.[AIP] |
