Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed no surviving archaeological features or deposits of medieval date. A series of 18th century dump deposits were encountered, however, against a deliberate terracing cut and a brick-built wall footing. Garden soil horizons were also encountered associated with the history of the site from the 19th century as an enclosed nusery or kitchen garden. [Au(abr)] |
