Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained on the stripping of topsoil from a large block of development land. The only archaeological features observed at the site consisted of a stretch of ditch, plough scars and a number of brick building remains including a well, walls, floors and a possible septic tank. Most, if not all, of these features were believed to have had an origin in the 19th century. [Au(abr)] |
