Abstract: |
Two trial trenches, each 11m x 1.8m, were excavated. In Trench One, a pit (context F1002) had been heavily truncated by modern activity, and contained two sherds of medieval and one residual sherd of Roman pottery. In Trench Two, a gully (context F1004) produced animal bone and two sherds of medieval pottery. These features appeared to suggest a low intensity of medieval activity. [Au(adp)] |
