Abstract: |
<summary>Desk-based assessment identified two known archaeological sites within the proposed development area: a Mesolithic flint scatter and a 19th century railway embankment. Adjacent sites included a turnpike gate documented on an 18th century map, the site of a 19th century quarry, a scatter of Mesolithic, Neolithic and Bronze Age worked flint, and a possibly Bronze Age linear gully. {italon}AIP{italoff} |
