Abstract: |
No archaeological deposits were recorded in any section of the trenches excavated; random finds consisted of fragments of 19th and 20th century pottery, unidentified bone fragments and a piece of corroded iron of unknown provenance. The depth of excavation indicated that any archaeology had either been totally lost during the laying of modern driveways, or was preserved at much greater depths than were exposed on this occasion.
