Abstract: |
A watching brief was undertaken in accordance with a planning condition. At the time of the visit the foundations for the rear extension were in place although 0.5m of modern overburden remained exposed in the section. The timber-frame within the building was machine cut with relatively slender scantling and was unlikely to be earlier than c.1850. [Au] |
