Abstract:		 An evaluation was carried out, primarily through trial trenching, data from which was interpreted in the context of available documentary sources for the locality. Small quantities of Roman and medieval material (primarily ceramics) were recovered, and there was some evidence for small-scale stone extraction, most of which probably occurred in post-Roman periods.
