Abstract: |
An earthwork survey was undertaken of the site as part of the Norfolk Earthworks Survey. An extensive network of roadways, now mostly noted as hollow ways, in part delineated an earlier park. Various enclosures represented some shown on a 18th century map, but significant medieval and earlier pottery fragments indicated that a shrinkage or shift of settlement had occurred, with some enclosures of likely medieval date.
