Abstract: |
<summary>A watching brief was undertaken during works in the churchyard of St Mary Magdalene. The replacement and relaying of old paving on the path to the north of the church involved excavation to a maximum depth of 20 centimetres and no significant archaeological deposits were identified. The rebuilding of a wall along the northern edge of the path revealed up to 0.75 metres of soil largely disturbed, presumably by burials. {italon}Au{italoff} |
