Abstract: |
A field evaluation was undertaken in advance of proposals to construct an extension to the north side of the church and to accomodate the possibility of extending the burial area. No significant archaeological finds or features were recovered. All the trenches contained inhumations associated with the post-medieval cemetery. The evidence suggested that substantial use of the graveyard during the period had caused considerable truncation of any earlier archaeological deposits or burials. [Au(adp)] |
