Abstract: |
A sample gradiometer survey, covering 4 hectares, was carried out at the site of a proposed housing development. Anomalies indicative of ridge and furrow ploughing were identified across most of the site. Other linear anomalies were thought to have been caused by modern features such as drains or other service pipes. No anomalies of a probable archaeological origin had been identified. [Au(abr)] |
