Abstract: |
During the course of the desk-based assessment no evidence for any preindustrial archaeology was recorded within the proposed development area. This was probably due to the construction in the second half of the 19th century of a cutting for the Forest of Dean Central Railway and quarrying on the site which was closed in 1929. [Au(abr)] |
