Abstract: |
The desktop study was undertaken along the route of the proposed pipeline. Investigations revealed that the site had probably been in use since the Iron Age with an enclosure possibly relating to a nearby hill fort. Medieval activity was shown by ridge and furrow while post-medieval activity was illustrated by quarries and lime kilns. [AIP] |
