Abstract: |
Observations during the watching brief revealed a stratigraphic sequence. The alignment of two trackways in the monitored area corresponded with that of the boundaries of an earlier field, which itself, may have had medieval origins. Although the trackways themselves were not considered to be of archaeological importance, the fact that their position in the landscape was preserving much older land boundaries was worthy of note. No other significant archaeological features or artefacts were revealed [Au(abr)]. |
