Abstract: |
The assessment identified a waterfront structure which was present on the site in the middle of the 18th century and that it was used for the storage of products associated with the processing of tar. The premises were probably used for tar processing over a period of probably more than a century. Elsewhere on the site were the remains of other waterfront structures dating as far back as the 17th century. [AIP] |
