Abstract: |
A ditch was found containing Roman pottery and tile which added to the pattern of Roman activity in the Grange Road area. Three pits were also found on the site; the earlier two were dated to the late 17th to 18th century and one to the 19th century. The site had been extensively truncated by 19th century activity.
