Abstract: |
Further evalution was undertaken along the Cirencester and Stratton Bypass Preferred Route, at Peewit's Hill Farm. Three trenches were excavated on a cropmark site, which comprised a 'D'-shaped enclosure with internal subdivisions. Most of the cropmark features were shown to be of geological origin. One possible archaeological feature was revealed, comprising an ill-defined narrow and shallow gully. [AIP] |
