Abstract:
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the construction of two new car parks with associated services. Despite the study areas close proximity to a known area of Romano-British pottery production, no archaeological features or deposits were encountered during the watching brief. Two residual sherds of Roman mortaria, in all probability from the local industries, were however recovered from the topsoil. [Au(abr)]
