Abstract: |
Five trial trenches were excavated across the site which was in two parts. The evaluation demonstrated that the proposed area of development had no evidence for occupation before the late 19th century. The report concluded that the land would have been liable to periodic flooding and therefore most likely to have been used for meadow land. [Au(adp)] |
