Abstract: |
An earthwork survey east of the ruined church indicated that the earthworks suggest shrinkage of tofts, many superseded by later dwellings. Within the avenue lay evidence of a former street with degraded toft boundaries on both sides. Banked and ditched linear features belonging to an earlier field system were identified. [Au(adp)] |
