Abstract: |
The excavations and watching brief carried out on the site exposed a complex series of field systems, enclosures, stone built corn-dryers and burials. These features were situated on the eastern side of a former water channel. They were dated to the Late Iron Age and Romano-British periods. The site was abandoned at the end of the 3rd century/beginning of the 4th century. [Au(abr)] |
