Abstract:
<summary>A watching brief was maintained during groundworks for the construction of new sheltered accommodation. A linear hollow which had been identified prior to development was found to have been cut into undisturbed subsoil. To the south of the hollow, a number of mostly unworked limestone slabs, representing demolition residues, were observed. Two unstratified sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the area of limestone blocks. {italon}AIP{italoff} {italon}SMR Primary Record Numbers:{italoff} GLOS3513
